A Boy Named Ruth

With POOF! The Pop Show from its humble beginnings as The Big Gay Electronic Show, Ruth has been an integral part of the migration of the show into its current likeness and format of playing all brand new music peppered with artist/community interviews.
A BA, BS candidate at Tulane University and National Merit Scholar, Ruth spends the majority of his downtime from school working on music production, writing and graphic design as well as functioning as WTUL’s Director of Development and Special Projects. Ruth can be seen around the New Orleans area through his involvement in LGBTQ events as well as performing the occasional DJ set with his favorite cohost as the boys of POOF!
